The base rate moved. The differential did not.
Five years ago: Standard $120, Suite $160, a $40 differential. Today: Standard $180, Suite $220, the differential still $40. A dashed line runs well past the Suite rate to show what the gap is worth now.
The base rate can be roughly right while every rate above it is wrong. If your best rooms consistently sell out no slower than your standard rooms, allowing for how few of them you have, the differential is too small.
