ampliphi is an AI revenue management system. It reads your Cloudbeds reservations, room types and availability, recommends a nightly rate for each room type, and sends approved rates back to Cloudbeds automatically or with one click.
This guide covers how to sign up, connect Cloudbeds, what the integration does, its limitations, how to disconnect and how to get help.
Signing up for ampliphi
- Request a demo on our contact page or email info@getampliphi.com.
- Our team sets up your ampliphi account and sends your login details.
- During onboarding we agree your pricing settings (floor and ceiling rates, competitor set, auto-publish preferences) with you.
Rate publishing to Cloudbeds requires an ampliphi plan that includes PMS integration.
Connecting Cloudbeds for the first time
You need a Cloudbeds user with permission to manage apps and API credentials.
- In Cloudbeds, open Account > Apps & Marketplace, find ampliphi and click Connect.
- Generate an API key for ampliphi under API Credentials and copy it.
- Copy your Property ID. It is the number in your Cloudbeds dashboard URL.
- Send the API key and Property ID to support@getampliphi.com, or enter them when your ampliphi onboarding specialist asks.
- We test the connection and load your room types and base rates. ampliphi then imports your reservation history (2 years by default) to train your pricing model.
- In ampliphi, go to Settings > Connections. The PMS status shows Connected with the time of the last sync.
The first sync usually finishes within a few hours. You review recommended rates before anything is sent to Cloudbeds.
Integration functionality
ampliphi reads reservations, room types, availability and base rates from Cloudbeds. It sends one thing back: the nightly base rate for each room type.
When rates are published:
- Manual: review recommendations in ampliphi and click Publish.
- Auto-publish: turn it on in ampliphi and pick the daily publish times. ampliphi sends updated rates after each pricing run.
ampliphi confirms each night with Cloudbeds after sending. Nights that Cloudbeds does not confirm are marked in ampliphi so you can resend them.
Limitations
- Base rates only. ampliphi updates the base rate of each room type. Derived rate plans in Cloudbeds (packages, non-refundable, OTA-specific) keep following their base through your Cloudbeds derivation rules. ampliphi does not edit them directly.
- No restrictions or inventory. ampliphi does not change minimum stay, closed to arrival or departure, stop-sell or room counts in Cloudbeds.
- One base rate per room type. If a room type has more than one base rate plan, ampliphi uses the first one. Tell us at setup which one to use.
- Rates are sent as a single amount in your property's currency, before tax, as set up in Cloudbeds.
- Guest details are limited to the guest name. ampliphi does not import guest email or payment data.
- Out-of-order and blocked rooms are not imported separately. They show in ampliphi only through reduced availability.
- Changes you make in Cloudbeds appear in ampliphi at the next sync (up to 6 hours for rates). A rate that differs from ampliphi's last publish is treated as your manual override.
- One Cloudbeds property per ampliphi hotel. Each property is connected separately.
Disconnecting the apps
From Cloudbeds: remove ampliphi from Apps & Marketplace and revoke the ampliphi API key under API Credentials. ampliphi then stops reading data and sending rates. See Disconnect an app from myfrontdesk.
From ampliphi: email support@getampliphi.com and ask us to disconnect Cloudbeds. We pause or remove the connection and delete the stored API key. We recommend also revoking the key in Cloudbeds.
Rates already sent stay in Cloudbeds after you disconnect. Your ampliphi history stays available until your account is closed.
Support
- Email: support@getampliphi.com
- In the app: Help > Get help, or ask Alfie, the ampliphi assistant, to test your PMS connection.
- Sales and partnerships: Tim Kolman, tim.kolman@getampliphi.com
Include your hotel name and Cloudbeds Property ID when you contact us.
FAQ
I changed a rate in Cloudbeds. Will ampliphi overwrite it? ampliphi sees the change at the next rate sync and treats it as a manual override. Ask your account manager how overrides are handled on your auto-publish schedule.
Why does a night show as "not confirmed" after publishing? Cloudbeds processes rate updates in a queue. If Cloudbeds has not confirmed a night within about 30 seconds, ampliphi marks it so you can publish it again.
My Settings > Connections page shows "Connection error". Your API key may have been revoked or changed. Generate a new key in Cloudbeds and send it to support@getampliphi.com.
Do you support Cloudbeds group accounts? Yes. Each property in the group connects separately with its own Property ID and API key, and appears as its own hotel in ampliphi. See Supporting Group Accounts.

We look at your rates against your market, on your own numbers, and show you where you are lagging. No obligation, and you stay in charge of every rate.
