For the owner without a revenue manager, and the revenue team without enough hours

The discipline of a full-time revenue manager.

Our team’s years of running hotel revenue, combined with machine learning that reads thousands of data points a day, so every pricing decision is made the way a seasoned revenue manager would make it, by whoever is making it.

Sound familiar?

At a 40-room hotel, pricing happens at the end of the day, after check-ins, breakfast, laundry and maintenance, with just enough time to touch the two or three dates you already know are hot. At a group, the revenue manager has twelve properties and the same 24 hours. Either way the discipline slips: rates set once a month and revisited twice, comp-set moves copied instead of read, strong nights found out about when the last room goes. The judgment is there. The hours and the data are not.

How it works

Three steps. You approve every rate.

  1. Three data sets, one story.

Comp rates alone tell you what the hotel down the road did, not why. We read them against your booking pace and the events calendar. Comps up $30, you’re ahead of pace, and there’s a concert in town: the right move isn’t $30, it’s $50. Machine learning weights those signals for your property and your market, and tests every change against what actually booked in the next 24 hours, so it learns your hotel in weeks, not years.

  2. Your strategy is the backbone.

Before a single rate is recommended, we set the strategy with you: occupancy play or rate play, which dates you want to watch yourself and which to automate, and the guardrails nothing can cross. Most operators automate everything beyond their booking window and keep their hands on the next 14 days. Drive it, let it run, or anything between; the recommendations follow your strategy, not the other way round.

  3. A revenue team in the loop.

Every plan comes with a named analyst who has priced hotels for a living. They set up your strategy, review your results with you monthly or quarterly, and tell you honestly when something other than price is holding a number back. No black box; a person who knows your market and your numbers.

Where this is going

Revenue management used to be a department and a system. It’s becoming a strategy that runs across sales, marketing and distribution. Group blocks in the sales system, campaigns in the marketing dashboard and rates in the RMS have never talked to each other.

ampliphi is being built as the brain that connects them: ask which groups are at risk of washing out next month, which campaign backfilled that gap last time, and what rate makes it convert, and get one answer instead of three meetings. For an independent, that’s how a one-person team outruns a brand’s specialists. For a group, it’s how one revenue manager covers twelve properties without the discipline slipping at any of them.

See how much guess is costing you. Then talk to someone who has priced hotels for a living.

We’ll walk through it on your own numbers. You approve every rate, and if your pricing is broadly right, we will say so.
